Lowboy Studios works with bars and restaurants at different stages of development, from early conception to more established programs in need of refinement. The work is tailored to each project, but generally centres around beverage design, operational clarity, and building systems that can hold up in service.

The Read

Sometimes the most useful place to start is just an honest look at what's already there. A standalone audit for bars and restaurants who want a clear outside read on their program - the menu, how it runs and where the gaps might be.

The Idea

Usually the starting point for new projects, before a single drink is specced, there's a conversation about what the room is, who it's for, and what you would like it to feel like. The concept is borne from that, not the other way around.

3

The Menu

This is the core of the work: building drinks and shaping the menu around them. The aim is always balance, clarity, and identity, without losing sight of how the program actually needs to function in service.

4

The Build

A good menu lives or dies based on the structures behind them. Prep, batching, workflow - the boring bits that actually make everything else possible. This is where creative decisions become operational ones.

5

The Team

A program is only as good as the people delivering it night after night. Making sure your team understands not only what they are making, but why.

6

The Long Game

The launch is just the beginning. Bars evolve, teams change and seasons shift. The most interesting rooms are always in motion, quietly refining and adjusting.
